Food was lovely! Good, friendly and lovely staff! If you're looking for some spicy food that would hit, the chilli scrambled eggs are perfect, light meal but still packs a punch :> Amazing coffee, good space and vibes! Highly recommend!!!

The food is awesome! I ordered mushroom truffle omelette, it's not oily at all! It takes so good, great coffee and great service as well. The staff is so friendly to us and my dog, we are so happy with the experience and service! This cafe is def underrated.

Enjoyed our breakfasts last week - good variety of options to choose from the menu. Opens at 7 am for the whole day. Excellent service, fresh food, light and bright interior. Good location corner Power St & Burwood Rd Hawthorn. 2hr parking behind IGA , 1 hour parking Burwood Rd, no limit weekends after 12 noon.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This morning I stumbled into Rubika after wandering the streets starving and looking for something comforting. What I found was more than just breakfast — it was a memory, a moment, and a hug from the universe. I ordered a flat white and shakshuka, sat down with my journal, and soon Taylor Swift started playing loudly through the speakers — the very same album I used to play on repeat when I first started my career. Then came the shakshuka. It had beans in it, and the first bite transported me straight back to my childhood, when we used beans to thicken our stews and I’d save them for breakfast while watching cartoons. In that instant, two parts of my life — my childhood and my early career — collided in the middle of a little café in a new city. It was nostalgic, emotional, and grounding. I actually cried over a bowl of shakshuka. Rubika gave me more than a meal today. It gave me a reminder that even in a strange place, you can find something familiar, something that feels like home. Thank you, Rubika, for turning an ordinary morning into something extraordinary.

This place is an absolute gem, the big breakfast here was the best I ever had, with perfectly cooked eggs with a delicious seasoning. The drinks were absolutely to die for. I would recommend this place to all breakfast lovers

Great place. Great coffee. The staff are wonderful. Arayan is so friendly. He remembered me after only one visit. Definitely come here for your coffee if you are in Hawthorn.

Arrived just 8.20am on a Wednesday morning, quick efficient and friendly service. Ordered a large soy flat white, with their breakfast brioche bun. Great flavor, crispy bacon, hint of bbq. Great way to start the morning! Other items looked nice to try as well, another day... Enjoy!
